(not sure where this should go) hog skins

i have seen a couple of people on the forums mention hog skins on the forums

what are they
can u copy them into the game and play with cool hogs
or are they a editing tool where u can edit pictures of hogs?

I have little knowledge of changing the skins. FYI, you can change the skins of almost anything. Bases, reticules (aimer) of hogs, hogs itself, banshees, ETC. ETC.

To do these, you have to edit some Halo files. So be careful there little turbo!

And no, I have no idea how to do it  :o.

You have to DL a program that can edit the types of files the skins are.  I know "Paint.Net" works (it's a free knockoff of Photoshop).  Once you open it you basically just edit the skin the way you want it.  I made rocket hogs have a nice big spraypainted X on the bottom of them so if a hog is flipped I can tell if it's a rocket from a distance :]

You also need HMT to apply the new skins.
