Modern Warfare 2 worth getting still?

Well I have Black Ops, love it.

Though I hear MW2 is better.

So is it still worth getting for Xbox 360? Like does it have a high population of players?

Debatable really. I had cod6 for a few months before I got black ops, and tbh what I found was that the game is amazing for 2 groups of people:
    The pro gamers... There's quick scoping and drop shoting, which is what they want, as well as nukes for them to try and get.
And for people who play in groups. 6 man riot shielding Is sooooooo fun! So is random noob tubes, rushing, everyone walking around doing 360 C4 kills. Yea it's really good game for doing the above, but if you don't have lots of friends playing mw2 then I wouldn't recommend it over black ops. Still an awesome game though!!!

Id say no, and theres a few reasons..

noob tubers. No skill gl attachment is really annoying
campers. hide in a corner with some overpowered gun and you will win
the killstreaks. Many just go boost for the nuke witch ruin the game entirely
and as ben said, the quick scopers and drop shooters.both are cheap ways to kill.

If your looking for a COD game, go for COD2 best one ever made
Otherwish, if you like boosting and noob tubing, then MW2 is just right for you

But seriously, I do have CoD2. I find even Black Ops better than it. IDK I havent played it online since no one ever plays it anymore.

If your looking fort a balanced cod game then surely it's cod4 the whole way!!
