I lived in the days of Tanxs when he was but a kid.
BFM clan only scrims were my favorite. I was so proud to make it into the ranks of this clan, but proud enough to let that be my downfall.
I am only happy that I got to experience such a legendary clan.

This is R e d u X speaking.

And I'd have to go with the soundtrack from 28 Days Later, by John Murphy, but only as they are in the film itself, not in the official soundtrack. In fact, I went back with Audacity and edited the speed, which, in turn, edited the pitch, of each song to exactly watch their film counterparts.

There's one of my favorite film scores, along with the scores from Star Trek: The Motion Picture and The Departed, by Jerry Goldsmith and Howard Shore, respectively.

Just testing something out right quick, just to test it out.
Anyway, there it is.

Anyone noticed that Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer seem to be working on almost every major motion picture lately!? v.v
Being a good racer in Halo isn't just about getting the best times. You have to know where your teammates and enemies are, and most of all... how to be crafty! XD -nods-

Oh... and "v.v" = sad face.

Props to Plixity for the first sig, Slayton for the Season XIII trophy sig, and Jane for the banner! Thx guys! ^.^

Hans Zimmer is getting a lot of calls lately...why, I don't know; he's not brilliant IMNSHO. Everyone goes on about his 'Pirates of the Caribbean' music...I used to think he only did the second two films, but he worked on themes with Klaus Badelt on Curse of the Black Pearl and was only credited as a producer. Notable works include:

- Gladiator
- Batman Begins (with James Newton Howard)
- The Dark Knight (with James Newton Howard)
- The Lion King (song melodies written by Elton John, orchestrated by Zimmer)
- Pirates of the Caribbean series
- The Simpsons Movie (theme written by Danny Elfman)

Danny Elfman does brilliant work, although he's sometimes a bit too 'obvious' that it's an Elfman score. Notable works include:

- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Beetlejuice
- Batman
- Batman Returns
- Edward Scissorhands
- Men In Black
- Spiderman
- The Simpsons

John Williams is another brilliant film composer, although to me his best work is in the themes. His incidental music works, but it's a bit boring at times...not least because he seems to have certain passages that he just copies and pastes from film to film. Notable works:

- Star Wars
- Indianna Jones
- Jaws
- Harry Potter 1-3
- Superman
- Schindler's List (IMO his best work)
- E.T.
- Jurassic Park

Those are the 'Big Three' film composers, and they get most of the multi-million dollar calls. Here are some smaller names:

Howard Shore. The Lord of the Rings catapulted him into the public eye, but most of his other works aren't major films.

- The Fly (1986 - Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid)
- The Silence of the Lambs
- The Lord of the Rings...and, in 2012/2013, the Hobbit: Part 1 and the Hobbit: Part 2

Michael Nyman has written music to several Peter Greenaway films (Drowning by Numbers; The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and her Lover) but his only major soundtrack was The Piano.

James Horner is a fairly big name in film composing, but not quite on par with the big three. His music almost always features large amounts of choral singing, sometimes driving my family round the bend.

- Apollo 13
- Titanic
- Braveheart
- The Mask of Zorro
- Avatar

I think that's enough to be getting on with...
