Would anyone like to critique on a couple sigs of mine?
« on: May 16, 2011, 07:22:17 PM »
Hello, everyone, this is L°§tMyMiNÐ.

And I'd like some critique on a few sigs I made that I'm going to post here in this topic, since I only use one sig that I make and I'd like to pick the one you all think is the best out of all of them.

Without any further ado, here's the first:

And there will be one or two, maybe more, on the way after this one.

However, I'm still making them, but this one only took me maybe one to three hours to put together, so the others, I think, won't be too hard.

:)

But, anyway, there it is.

I like the border on the sides, how It slowly fades Into the black & also the shape of the signature.

BFM clan only scrims were my favorite. I was so proud to make it into the ranks of this clan, but proud enough to let that be my downfall.
I am only happy that I got to experience such a legendary clan.

Thanks, LeCrae.

L°§tMyMiNÐ here.

Yeah, but it was a challenge to get the actual picture itself into the right spot (using a 650x150 banner-style space) in order to capture the full effect of what I was going for when I started out with it. However, I wanted to make it look they were being monitored on a television instead of being seen through a sniper scope without any crosshair, but I still think I pulled it off, more or less.

Anyway, that's what I was going for. The next one is due shortly.

;D

Hello, everyone, L°§tMyMiNÐ here.

This next one I went and stitched together, just for some laughs.

Anyway, there's number two...

For number three, I'm planning on being serious with it.

i cant believe i'm going to put this, (dont start)

The first one looks good, but it's a little Monotonic, and i think i see what you tried to do (make it like night vision goggles on the troops? if so i'm sorry for the monotonic thing, and you could improve the look of it by adding some dips in the top and bottom centre.

the second one is a fairly need idea, but the text could do with being in a different place, and it would look heaps better if the cat and the mouse werent blurred quite as much.

But, these are just my opinions mate, keep up the work and you'll advance fairly quickly if you have a good enough imagination.

Alex

Okay, everyone, this is L°§tMyMiNÐ, coming back to you with a reworking of a previous sig I came up with.

Here it is:

Still a WIP, though I don't think I can make it any better than it already is.

:/

What do you think?

The text needs to blend with the sigs more.  It looks like you put them as the top layer with no effects.

L°§tMyMiNÐ here.

I'll go ahead and put your suggestion into effect for the third version of my Fallout 3-themed sig. Thanks for the advice. And I'll see if I can go ahead and rework the second sig I created and posted, with all this advice in mind.

:)

Thanks for the critique, everyone!
