Need an opinion (options contain links, fyi)

Sleeper-sofa
Futon with drink holder
Queen sized mattress, no frame (don't like frames)

I need a new bed, but I don't want to buy a frame, so a futon/sleeper-sofa would be best, or a mattress on the floor. What would you get?

For my mattress, I use a CHEAP metal frame that's on wheels - I tend to rearrange my room often.  I love it!  The "couch" form of the futon could be nice for curling up with a blanket to study, though.  Hmm.  If you think it's comfortable, I'd go with the futon.  Your back has to pay the price if it's not comfortable!

One thing to keep in mind, the futon and the sofa bed, which look to be faux leather, are going to get really hot... they will reflect your body heat.  Can get nasty, depending on climate.

I've had all these options at one time or another, and gotta go with the mattress... its made for sleeping on night after night, the others are more intended for extra sleeping space for guests, emergencies, etc.

Queen size matty.  I used to use no-frame, but I have been using a frame for the last year.

i havnt tried all of them so im not voting, im just going to say sleeping on leather in the summer is a pain.
especially when you skin sticks to it :\

I actually find leather quite comfortable to sleep on ( My friend has leather couches at his house, and after long nights of playing WoW or Minecraft, I would go upstairs, grab a blanket, and fall asleep on one.)

And the thing about my skin sticking to it....I have air conditioning XD As long as that is running, I should be fine. Also, I could always put a sheet/blanket on it before I sleep.

Careful with that first choice though. Be sure it is GENUINE faux leather before you buy.
