It's time for a new one

I love the one Tanger made for me over a year ago, and it will be staying, but I would love to have a new one. This is going to be a fairly specific request: if someone would be kind enough to involve the Tau Kappa Epsilon coat of arms (seen in my signature currently, by the way proud member of the Zeta Mu chapter at my university ) as well as the phrase "Above all else, this Fraternity stands for Men" into a sig, I will love you forever. Color scheme should be obvious as well (after all, I bleed cherry and gray).

By the way, when you say involving the TKE coat of arms, how much do you mean by 'involving'? It just features in the sig, it is the sig but made to look more flash, or what?

Right now I'm just working on getting that coat of arms to be more detailed.

All I mean by that is that I just want the coat of arms (preferably smaller than it is right now) in the sig itself. The way you worded that question it was kinda hard to understand exactly what your asking but by me saying that the coat of arms just needs to be in it in some shape or form should clear up any confusion. Whatever you decide to do after that is at your discretion.

What I was trying to ask was how much you wanted the TKE CoA to dominate the sig - whether that meant that there was nothing else, there was something else but still the TKE is the focus, or whether the TKE could be in the background.

However, despite my terrible wording, that question has now been answered. I'm fairly busy right now, so I'll take a while to get anywhere, but I'll do it.

Many apologies to Widget, but I fear that I have spent the last month of efforts on an idea that won't work. Which is a pity, because I was proud of some of the things I'd managed, but when put together they don't work. I'm going to have to start again from scratch.

Just so that the effort I spent on it isn't totally wasted, I'll put up what  I started work on first. Basically, I was trying to jazz up the existing coat of arms and then use that...er, in a way that I hadn't figured out yet.



You have no idea how long that helmet took.

But it became apparent that trying to make the Coat of Arms look 'real' when it's got massively thick black lines wasn't going to work, so I'd have to completely fabricate a new CoA, featuring realistic curtains and parchment and...it got oo complicated. I gave up, and decided to put the CoA on the Masterchief's shoulder instead...

I'd love to say 'yes' but I found a render with those details. I changed the position of the head so that it suited the composition of the sig - this left some gaps in the neck and back of head, which I fabricated. There was already a symbol on the chief's shoulder - you might just make out the shape of a gladiator's helmet - which I had to remove before applying Widget's symbol, which I had to draw whilst adjusting for curvature, angle and so forth. I also gave the chief a slight colour-tint to match him in with the background - he didn't quite marry with it as it was.

The render, I agree, is stunning - It would take me weeks of man-hours to get anything near that kind of detail. I don't have the time.
