Xfire Update Fail

So the new Xfire updates came out. And I have tried running Xfire now 3 times. It has to go through the update of course. So It downloads all the files, but then this other window comes up saying "Waiting for Xfire to Close", and every time fails. Not sure what to do here.  :AOL:

do u have windows 7? if so do u run your programs as administrator. did u have a game running at the time?


If u have Windows 7 and dont run your programs as administrator just right click the icon and then locate where it has the shield and says Run as Administrator. should work.

If u have win 7 and do run as administrator and it does not work then i have no clue sorry.

It hapened to me the first time I tried to update but then, after a few hours, I opened Xfire again and it did the update without a problem.

With Windows XP the same trick of running as Administrator should probably be able, and also work.
