I've been watching the development of the film for the last twelve months, and can't believe I still have another twelve to go!

I quite like how they're splitting it into two parts (An Unexpected Journey and There And Back Again) so that they can flesh out the back story - particularly as to what Gandalf does when he leaves the company.

Richard Armitage as Thorin will be fun, he's not a bad actor at all. Well worth waiting for, I hope!
