Welcome to Signature of the Month Competition, February!

It was a good competition last month! So a pat on the back and congratulations to BFM_Lucky for winning last month's SoTM Competition!

This month: Render signature contest!
For this month's competition, there will be a render that you must use in your entry. Please make sure to read the rules carefully for this type of contest.

The Render: Taylor Swift
You must use this image. Make sure to read the rules.

SOME RULES:

1. Please keep the size under 500x500, but please keep the width no lower than 300.
(trophy width minimum is 300 pixels)

2. You may only use the render given! Use of another render or other images can/will result
in a disqualification. Things like c4d's and fractals are allowable, but should not dominate the signature.

3. In the spirit of the competition, the signatures must be made during the month of the competition.

4. Use of stock images is prohibited for our render signature contests. The only image used is to be the render.
(conservative use of fractals/C4Ds is allowed)

5. You are only allowed to enter one signature, and your first entry will be the only one considered
for the voting thread. So make sure the signature you enter is the one you are most happy with.

You will be asked to reproduce the original entry if you edit/remove your original entry.

6. Have fun ... or else

We haven't done a render competition in a while, so the rules are a little more strict, but dont let that be discouraging.
Use the given render, be creative and have fun. That's what we do this for.

Attention:

You can't use someone else's signature and put your name on it, or modify it slightly.
That's stealing!

Don't take a stock image (a pre-made picture w/background) and just put your name on it,
edit and personalize it in some way (with more than just your name

). Be creative!

MOST IMPORTANTLY:

We're here to have fun! Even if you don't like the theme,
you can always find a cool render that's related still and make a cool sig.

This month's competition will close on February 24^th.

It's a leap year, so Feb has 29 days. I end the competitions 5 days before the end of the month to give 5 days of voting. So we are ending on the 24th at 8:00PM CST.

Make sure you have taken notice to any addition rules. They can vary month to month.

I've been meaning to add to to the template that the winner always gets to choose what the next month's competition will be. (render, theme, or free for all)

just an FYI to any of the newer contestants who might not have known. I'll have that added from here on out.

ARGH!!!! Why didn't the person who made this render feather the hair properly? This is going to make my sig take twice as long as it needs to, because I'm going to have to feather the hair after the fact...oh, well.

EDIT: Taylor herself is fully edited - now just for the background...
