Counter-Strike: GO
« on: August 22, 2012, 03:16:31 AM »
Anyone getting the new CS, Global Offensive? I'm currently downloading for the Xbox as we speak. Been anticipating the release for a while now - I used to play a bit of CS: Source back in the day.

It will probably be better on PC but I don't have the hardware for it. :P

Cost on PC (Steam) is $15.
1200 MSP from the XBL Arcade.

I'll probably get it. Haven't played CS in a really long time. Since the original Xbox. :P

Update:
Bought it. Im so rusty though. I haven't played since junior high. I like the Arms Race game type. It's fast paced and gets you used to a variety of weapons.

I must say this was a bit of a flop for me. Played for about three days, have not touched it since. Really didn't have the same enjoyment as the original CS on Xbox or even CS: Source.

I think I've been spoilt with recent first-person shooters that I dislike reverting back to this style of game.

I wont be getting it.  I had the beta for it and well its kinda  pointless realy as its just CS:S with better graphics and thats realy all that makes it better  if you can even call that better.
