Way cool.  There are some others of Paris and NY too.

Tilt-shift is what I know that effect by if you're wanting to google for more of them.

I've always yearned to expand my photography to include Tilt-Shift, but alas... it has evaded me.  :'(

The miniature/long-shot ones are, indeed, the best, too.

Thanks for the beautiful reminder, JD!

P.S.: You'll also want to Google "Miniature faking"....

Tilt shift is pretty easy in Gimp or Photoshop.  Take a picture with your subject in the middle, and then seriously blur both the foreground and background.  In normal outdoor photographs, due to the distances from the camera, it's very difficult to get both the foreground and background out of focus.  But with macro shots of close up objects, you have a narrow depth of field and you do get a lot of blur in the foreground and background.  So by artificially blurring the outdoor landscape shots, it fools the eye into thinking it must be a miniature.

Loved it at 35ish seconds in with the kid and the basketball..... It's about the same size as a soccer ball. = )
Being a good racer in Halo isn't just about getting the best times. You have to know where your teammates and enemies are, and most of all... how to be crafty! XD -nods-

Oh... and "v.v" = sad face.

Props to Plixity for the first sig, Slayton for the Season XIII trophy sig, and Jane for the banner! Thx guys! ^.^
