Time for a new Rig...

My online has been a lot more sporadic lately with having GPU issues... again... so...

New build.

Case: NZXT Phantom Black
MOBO: Gigabyte 990FX UD3
CPU: AMD FX4100 4.1ghz Quad Core
GPU: Gigabyte 7970 3gb 384bit Ghz Edition
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 4x4gb DDR3 1600
PSU: Thermaltake 850watt Gold
HDD: WD 1tb RE 64meg 7200rpm
Sound: Creative Zx Soundblaster


Waiting on the parts... Should have them by Wednesday this week at the latest.

Current GPU is on the way out, HDD is near max and my case annoys me.

Yay, pictures! All those numbers and letters from the first post did nothing for me :P

That keyboard looks cool. Makes me sad that I still illuminate my keyboard with conventional overhead lighting :(

But why do you need a sound card? I haven't had a sound card since 3 computers ago!

Good looking rig, Jax.  I too have a lit keyboard.  I've worn the A W S D keys blank twice now. Too heavy handed during game play.  Anyway, congratulations, that should last for a while.

Eh... the last one I gave away to my friend, sometimes I recycle parts, and my laptop is sitting in my closet collecting dust.

Installed a 240mm fan yesterday, saw a 4 degree drop across the entire system, even under max load.




aaaaaand it's an LED fan.

Quite happy with temperatures...
