Try clicking on the taskbar "icon!"
If that doesn't do it (I'm hoping you've already tried that!
) then it's probably in
The Windows Twilight Zone Of Off-Screen Pixels!! (Oh NOEZ!!! Say it ain't SO!)This happens when Windows - for unknown reasons - "leaves" a window at a location OUTSIDE YOUR VISIBLE VIEWING SPACE.
(Ya, pretty dumb thing to do, I know.... Psssh! It's WINDOZE!)It's tricky to do, but here's
How To Recover An Off-Screen Window:
RIGHT AFTER YOU START UP VENTRILO....:Press <ALT>+<SPACEBAR>. This will open the regular Windows menu for "Move the (currently-focussed) window" to another place.
(If, when you press <ALT>+<SPACEBAR>, you cannot see the Window, just press the <DOWN ARROW> once and then <ENTER>.) You can now use the arrow keys to move the window to a position where you can see it.
'Hope this does the trick!
