Not sure of your purpose here, except to just see what most people think about Defrag'n.  I chose for you to get another HDD since that's so unbelievably small AND it appears as if you are already defragging that drive, which is what I would have done as well.   :-)

Well, I don't know what defragging entails and I don't know what an HDD is, but those colorful and eye-catching bars at the bottom would seem to indicate that defragging would not do much. I voted None of the Above because the obvious answer is "mashed potatoes".

I voted "Defrag" because I want you to tell me how long it takes.... Windows defrag is SOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW when it has plenty of hard drive space to move things around on.  With such limited space my guess is "sometime next year"........

I love Diskkeeper.... but even that would choke on the limited harddrive space...

Very good those of you who noticed the defrag is running already. ONE extra point for you.  MINUS a GAZILLION points to Microsquish for making ME check it and do one MANUALLY, tho! (There's a particular reason that I should NOT have to do such trivial maintenance on THIS system!  Anyone (Except Rebel!)?)

Yes, that's a measly 40GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD), and that's the way it's going to STAY, TYVM!   


FYI: It took 6 hours to complete, and is STILL 21% fragmented!

How do you check that frag thing? Do I need to do it? Does it do it automatically without me ever saying, "Yeah, do it"? I have Va-Va-Va-Vista!
