I feel so insignificant now :'( I wants one but money is a major problem

I would be happy with the 'old' Q6600 build...

Lovin it Taipan!

Flasy lights, pff the X2000 looks good enough without them!

Oh Hlao u still know me well and my absolute HATE FOR LIGHTS on the computer case.

My computer is at the bottom left of my bed. So flashing likes drive me mad all night since I normally download all night. I used to own this case (looks cool, but good god it was bad):

http://www.amaxpc.net/image.php?productid=16370

It had an LCD display that changed colour every 3 seconds. Try sleeping with that going off.

Flashing lights normally result me kicking the computer or manually cuting off every single useless LED.

G:\ is a card reader built into my printer
J:\ is my PSP (it's got an 8GB stick in it atm)
K:\ is a 1GB stick/jump/flash/USB drive
L:\ is actually a virtual drive, so I can put a password on beta versions of programs that I shouldn't really be talking about (NDA == Not Discussed Anywhere, I stole the acronym from Battlefield Heroes)

I'm pretty sure that NDA = Non-Disclosure Agreement. :P

ALBMOT: Since I see that we're now comparing silly lists of partitions + mounted drives, it's time to post the ones on my laptop: ;)
C:\ Programs
D:\ DATA
X:\ July
Y:\ Zeus
Z:\ 44G
^^ all partitions of the 320GB drive.
E:\ DVD-RAM Drive
G:\ DVD Drive (V)

And I would list my desktop's partitions (greater in number; far greater sense), but I can't remember them all...

Whatever. I was right in a sense :-P

I think whatever controls what hardware/software gets what ordering/rank/number/donut decided "Y'know, instead of being perfectly logical about things, I'm going to have a spaz."

It makes me angry because every time I open a simple program I get spammed with "No Disk" errors because EVERYTHING is apparently hard-coded to use the C:\ drive for some stupid reason.
Congratulations!

You can say that again.

I don't think I've ever seen Windows XP install itself to a non-C: drive (except when there's a previously created partition with a Windows installation on it - which I doubt was the case with a card reader :\)
