Oh I see, if it was a HDD then I think i have been misunderstood the article, and beside now I was using a 2TiB HDD! lol so can you tell me that does a 3TiB of RAM exist?

Yeah it can exist though will be very expensive and def not for the average consumer. You can create a virtual RAM disk with your normal RAM, but obviously will be no where near 2TB. Solid state drives are becoming the new high end stuff. PCie x16 SSD arrays can achieve insane speeds. While the latest SATA sandforce chipset SSDs can get to 285MB/s read, 275MB/s write.

Wow, that's nice I think my next PC will be 2 or 3 TiB SSD, and yeah if it exist why that guy need a large capacity of RAM for? does his home run a bunch of servers?

When I ment it exists and expensive I ment in the order of maybe $100,000+ for a 1-2TB RAM disk. Anyway for 2-3TB of SSD it would cost about $6500-9500 (for 256GB cheap SSDs it is around $800).

Most people that want high end computers get like a 64GB or 100GB SSD for about $400-500 then they get a 1TB-1.5TB normal HDD for 150-200ish as a secondary drive for large files/data. And just have windows and games on the SSD.

Anyway I am basically saying it is impossible for him to have anything more then 24GB of RAM in a computer. Also it is impossible to have 6 x Core i7 CPU's (unless he ment to say he has the $1400 6 core Core i7 980X). It however impossible to have 12x Core 2 laptop cpus in a laptop. Highest is a quad core.

Considering he doesnt even know how to spell Nvidia or even how to just google his word for the right spelling and he has used words such a best nvidia and extreme cpu's means he both doesnt know much about computers and says he has an awesome one. So best way to know for sure if he posts up some screenshot proofs :)

U right, if he/she has that kind of computer then  he/she'll must a computer professional n for me I dont need that large capacity of RAM, or cpu, or a quad core (any latest one), a crossfire of HD 5870 or 5970 Video card and 2-3 TiB of HDD would fine for me, because I'm just a Low-Budget enthusiast gamer. n thx for explain those SSD things to me :)

Dell studio XPS 9000
6 intel i7 proceesers
1 terabyto of memory
nvididea best graphics card(nvr checked the model just bought it)
and now my good rig
alienware sometin or other laptop
12 intel core2 extreme proceeser chips
3 terrabytes of memory
and best nvidea card

any ways how do u spell nvidea?

Well your either a forum troll and/or know nothing about computers, but considering you have said best and extreme you are trying to impress. SOOOO we need proof of this awesome computer.

Download CPUZ from here: http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpuz/cpuz_154_setup.exe

Once you have install it, open it and make a print screen of the CPU and Memory tabs

Download GPUz from here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1788e/GPU-Z.0.4.2.exe

Once you have downloaded it just open it and take a print screen

Put your print screens on photobucket (or whatever imaging hosting site you use) and post them up to validate your "awesome" computer.

Example (my computer):

if u guys honestly belived me on this all i can say is wow
but i do have a dell xps studio 9000 with 6 i7 cores and nVidia GeForce GTS 240 1024mb video card
some other specs but to many to post, to see al specs go to dell.com go over the 'for home' tab and click onj desktops and all in ones
once there scroll to the bottom and click on xps studio 9000
mines the one thats 3rd to the right on the row of 4

and those ones i lied about do exist just very very very verrry spendy

No we knew you lied and were a forum troll hence why we wanted proof.

I will believe you have a Nvidia 240, however I dont believe you have a Intel Core i7 980X with it. Why would you have a fairly low end graphics card with Intel's current flagship $1400 hexcore. Please download CPUZ and post up screenshot using your photobucket or other account that clearly shows it is your image account (e.g. an account with TraelBlazr in it).

AMD 1090T
4GB Corsair 1600MHz 9-9-9-24
ASUS Crosshair IV
ATI 5850 1GB
Cooler Master Hyper 212
NZXT Beta
Lite-on SATA DVD/RW
OCZ ProXStream 1000W PSU
Edimax Wireless N PCI Card

Logitech G35 Headset
Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard
Roccat Kone V2 Mouse
24" 1920x1080 HDMI HannsG Monitor

Just upgraded today from a 5600+, runs so much smoother, recording full screen high settings isn't a problem on most games.

I do intend to OC my 1090 to 4GHz, no idea how to go about it though, tried through BIOS multipler 20x and stock other thing which is 200MHz like I watched on a YT vid and then I run Prime95 and my PC restarts itself after 30 secs? But yeah, just testing things atm, not really tried seriously. Some tips would be good though Taipan :P

Thanks Hangman!
