And btw: I got the same mouse, I gotta say, it's quite nice for only having 4 buttons. And the speed on those hard drives is insane!

All the new parts put together cost about $1,000.00 USD.  Some of the parts (like mouse, keyboard, headset, sound card) I already had don't factor in to the build.

I doubt it could run Crysis 2 on Hardcore :P  It would need a more beefy video card.  But if it had an NVidia 570 or something around that (or higher of course) it could probably handle it.

<3 my Microsoft stock mouse.  It is actually very comfortable.  I bought/have a 50$ gaming mouse which I absolutely HATED.  So I just went back to using this one.

As like you, I once had A gaming mouse..some Razer thing...I think I through it away after...3 months? It felt like trying to grip a rectangular brick to hold, and moving it was worse...Still..the 3000...most reliable and comfortable ever held in my hands...ever...And can you even run C2 on High?

Ughhh.  My power supply got delayed for over a week because they ran out of stock RIGHT before I ordered.  However all my other parts are here :D

Update:  I decided not to use the sound card because I don't have a good set of speakers and I rarely use speakers anyway.  (Thanks for the advice Bru!)  Even though I didn't buy it new (I took it out of another computer in the house).

Rig Update here once again...
CPU:Amd Athlon 64x2 6000+(Same as before)
RAM:4 gigs
GPU:ATI Radeon HD 4650 1gig
Speakers:5.1 channel home theater system..
Screen:17"1280x1024, and occasionally I take an HDMI cord and hook it to the T.V. in what my parents call the 'family room' So every now and then a 55" 1080p T.V. :D

I still gotta get a new mic though..my current one is this pink thing that looks like its for a kids toy...
