If I may be so nosey and ask:
Does anyone mind admitting how much $$ you've got in these rigs? I'm thinking I might drop some bucks and build me another. I've got about $500 in my current, crappy at gaming rig. Of course I have to admit, I didn't build it for gaming. Wasn't even into games at the time.

While we're at it. Lets spec out what we would like to have and proposed cost. Maybe it would be better if I changed that "we" to "you" cause I don't know what it takes to make a gaming rig, nor how much it will cost. You guys tell me what I need, I'll build it, and  then I'll get in your way on the tracks.

You've got the same headset as me. Except mine is taped up because it cracked.  :-\

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

    5.1 Speaker system: Logitech X-530 5.1

And now, FINALLY, some pics!:

The Works:

Fancy-shmancy case side - that will never be seen!:

Front, w/ door open. (Top-to-bottom: Hammer 3-sheep DVD-RW, LG all-format DVD-RW DL, removable PATA drive bay, two hot-swapable SATA drive trays. All were parted out from my previous/other systems I have.)

New rig (left, aside desk) in place.  Previous rig (inside desk computer bay.)
[Note bifold desk doors, above and below desktop.]  Doors close to completely hide everything. (See next pic to better understand....)

Mxy's Desk Of Action: Bottom-left: See old rig in compy bay? Then 48" pull-out tray 4 kybd/mouse/junk, beneath is foot bay, then some shelves to right of that, completing lower portion of desk. (And 1 pair of double-fold doors....)

Monitors: [ left] 17" Envision flat glass CRT as secondary "old rig;" [ middle] 19" Envision flat glass CRT as dual primary for both rigs (on KVM switch); [ right] another 17" Envision CRT as secondary for new rig. ['Had to get rid of one 19" for a 17" for balance....  ;) ] [more about monitor setup]

Remainder, top portion: Logitech 5.1 sound system, junk, and more junk, fold up light and another pair of double doors closes up all this and looks nice, clean and pretty in my office! (Me? Gaming?!?  Nahhh!  See? No computer to play anything on here in my office, right?!?  :muah: )
