**FIXED**brand new broken mic?

i have been going with out a mic for about a week and a half and just bought one this evening and i plug it in and it doesn't require any hardware other that your speakers and i get on vent and it doesn't work. i checked all the settings, rebooted twice,  made sure i didn't mute myself.  im trying to K.I.S. but i cant find out whats wrong.

i just bought a Cyber Acoustics mic for 8 bucks (im cheap lol  ) im gonna try and look stuff up but i dont know if it'll work and just wanted to know if anyone knows anything to help me

Where there's your problem  

I don't know how much Vent is like TS, but sometimes you're mic is set so that it can only pick you up when you shout, you sure it isn't set like that?

i use a PTT hotkey. and max its the CVL-1124 i read the support page but it didn't work >.<

We got it all fixed.

That's a relief. If I ever get on vent I'd love to have a PTT because otherwise all you'd hear is the constant static coming from the computer (built-in mic  )
