Me, Sprite, Xenon, Lemming and someone else (cant remember who) were in the kos channel. then i left for a while and i came back few mins later.

Luupää has joined the channel
Sprite: My brother exploded! (or something like that)
Luupää: WHAT!? 0.o
Others laughing
Luupää: ???
Sprite: Oh you wasnt here when i told about it wasnt you?
Luupää: No.
Sprite: You arent making me tell about it again.
Luupää: Yes i am, tell me.
Sprite: Xenon ran over my brother who was crossing the road and he exploded.

Microsoft Anna: "Nrvend has connected/ joined the channel"
Various: "Ah, hi Nrvend, we were just talking about you."
Nrv: "I hope it wasn't anything very rude?"
three60: "I'm sure you wouldn't have understood it anyway."

A few seconds later...

I can't remember who exactly said what, but it was during the Aussie evening, so mostly Aussies on plus JANE and maybe Marty.

We were discussing the pronunciation of some word, and Samurai (who is American) was outnumbered.  I think everyone else was saying the American's pronounced this word wrong etc. etc.  So Samurai finally says

"Yeah well you say tomayto, I say tomahto.."

When some clever person pointed out - "er, I think you have that backwards!"
